1. It’s the 50th Anniversary of Santa Cruz Pride
This year marks five decades of Pride in our community. That’s a legacy of resilience, joy, and progress worth celebrating. So let’s show up, show out, and make it unforgettable.
2. Dogs in Costumes
Yes, seriously. You will definitely get to pet dogs. And yes, they will be dressed up. One of them is named Ruth Bader Ginsbark, and she is a very good girl.
3. Beverages + Edible Glitter = Instant Joy
We’ll have bevvies. We’ll have sparkle. Want edible glitter on your cupcake? Your pizza? Your water? We got you. Everything is festive at Pride.
4. Celebrate Progress + Love
Pride is about honoring where we’ve been, how far we’ve come, and the power of love, friendship, and community. We celebrate all of it—because joy is resistance.
