CitySERVE, a partnership between the Volunteer Center and the City of Santa Cruz, connects caring neighbors with meaningful ways to serve — from beach clean-ups and graffiti paint-outs to landscaping local parks and greeting guests at the Civic Auditorium.
CitySERVE volunteers also bring connection and joy to our Downtown Senior Center by providing activities for local seniors, and they work with us to create one-time service projects for groups, businesses, and organizations.
This year alone, CitySERVE volunteers gave more than $728,000 worth of in-kind service to keep Santa Cruz clean, welcoming, and thriving. We’re so grateful for the dedicated volunteers and City staff who make this community partnership possible!
