Join Us as a Volunteer at County-Wide Vaccine Clinics

UPDATE FEB. 5th

The County of Santa Cruz has opened a weekly mass vaccination clinic at the Watsonville Fairgrounds, clinics at the old City Hall in Watsonville, and a special clinic at Dominican Hospital on Feb 18th to provide vaccines to the latest community tiers.

We are supporting this effort by mobilizing non-medical volunteers to help with the smooth running of the clinics. We invite you to be a part of this historic national volunteer activation to help communities fight COVID-19 by volunteering at the clinic.

We are especially in need of volunteers who are available to join us this weekend and throughout next week!

Non-medical volunteers will help in a host of ways.

Volunteers will be supporting medical staff by working at check-in stations, giving out information and paperwork, conducting a quick temperature check, collecting paperwork and running it to the medical team, running supplies to stations and floating between stations to give breaks to other volunteers.

At all clinics, volunteers will be outside and on their feet for most of the day. Sun shade and rain gear will be provided, but this will be hard work!

All volunteers will get a lunch break and rest breaks throughout the day. Lunch, water and snacks will be provided for all volunteers.

PLEASE NOTE: All Medical Professionals who would like to help are asked to first register with the Medical Reserve Corps- Learn More & Complete Your MRC application.

We look forward to partnering with you to safely support our community in this incredibly important effort.
