YouthSERVE will kick off 2015 by expanding their reach to several new senior service programs to help local seniors increase their skills with technology, social media, and digital devices.
As “digital natives,” young people are the perfect candidates for helping seniors learn how to better connect with online technology.
Seniors are invited to drop-in at monthly workshops designed to provide them with the technology skills they need to connect with family and friends.[/column] [column width=”55%” padding=”0″] [/column] [end_columns]Volunteers will be on hand to show participants how to use social media and personal electronic devices or answer any other technology questions seniors may have. All workshops are led by local teens with an adult supervisor on hand to answer any advanced questions seniors may have.
Note: Seniors must bring their own devices.
