You know the usual suspects – the people who always show up for every campaign, event, and meeting. The businesses that say yes to sponsorships, release their employees to mentor, coach and serve on committees, advisory councils, and Boards. The groups that fill sandbags in the rain, deliver food on holidays, and set out in the middle of the night to help unsheltered people.
They, like all us, have been extraordinarily busy lately, so please take 30 minutes to help us say thanks to them by nominating them for a Be the Difference award. Let’s all take a lesson from the Great Resignation – if we want folks to continue to step up for our Beloved Community, we need to up our gratitude. We need to show we care for those who are saying, “yes!”

The process of being mindful of the richness and generosity of people and institutions who share our love of justice, equity, families, elders, environment, and community that you express in nominating someone will also be restorative to us – this community we all love.
We are surrounded by words and images of what we lack, how we are broken, what we need, and how we are different – these words and images never feed us, and are never the true and complete story.
Help us celebrate what is working, what is bountiful, the ways that we are strong and striding forward.
Download this fillable nomination form, and submit it NO LATER than March 29, 2023!
Thank you.
Gratefully in service,
Karen Delaney
