Friends Outside

Friends Outside has provided support to the incarcerated, their family members, and those recently released for more than thirty years in Santa Cruz County. Our mission is to engage volunteers to restore justice, provide hope, and support change for those impacted by incarceration. We work closely with community partners to provide a continuum of services from custody to community re-entry. Our services are open to anyone who has been in jail or prison within the past 6 months from the date of intake, or has a referral from Probation.

What We Do: Post Release Services

We provide a wide variety of support services for post released individuals. Learn more about our programs to support clients with community re-entry.
