OUR PEOPLE
Every day thousands of volunteers are hard at work making Santa Cruz County a more vibrant place to live. They’re our heroes and we are privileged to share their stories. OUR WORK
For over 50 years our doors have been open county- wide and tens of thousands of our neighbors have walked in to offer their time and talents, or get the help they needed. Across years and issues, together we have created something profound and enduring. Learn more about our history.
2019 was an excellent year for volunteerism. The generosity of our supporters expanded and we engaged more volunteers than ever before. We connected over 15,000 volunteers, provided service for over 9,000 clients, and generated over $11 million dollars in volunteer labor towards solving pressing community issues.
