Stars Program
Each year local businesses support the Adopt-A-Family project by displaying stars in their businesses. These gifts are then donated to families that are not adopted by individual donors or to our partner agencies.
All of the families that receive gifts are referred to us by one of our 32 agency partners.

Toy Drives are another fun way to support our program. Instead of collecting gifts at a business for several weeks, you can plan an event with your co-workers, friends, neighbors, kids, or other groups and collect toys and gift cards!

Ways to Give a Gift Through our Stars Program
Host Stars at Your Business
Join us as Stars Program host by collecting gifts for families. We can drop off stars and information about Adopt-A-Family to your store asap. We will then pick up the gifts that are donated in mid-December. Email us or call us at (831) 427-5070 x112 to learn more.
Pick up a Star
Stop by one of our partner businesses to pick up a star. On that star, you will find a gift request from a local family. Purchase that gift and then bring it back to the business where you picked up the star or any participating location. Please note, we can only accept new items.
Take the Reins
Buy whatever you like and drop it off at one of the businesses collecting donations listed below or at our Santa Cruz Office. We always need more grocery store gift cards and backpacks for teens. Please Note: We are not able to accept used donations. View our wish list HERE. If you don't live in the area - you can shop our AMAZON WISH LIST, to have a gift shipped directly to us.
